A public-data reference for the environment around American homes
HomeNHealthy exists to make several difficult federal datasets understandable together—without pretending geography is a home inspection.
What HomeNHealthy does
EPA, NOAA and the Census Bureau each publish useful information, but the datasets use different geographic units, update schedules and definitions. HomeNHealthy joins selected fields into stable city profiles, states the mismatch where boundaries do not align and exposes the underlying data for audit.
What makes the site independent from its commercial page
HomeNHealthy maintains one separate home-wellness equipment guide. The project is affiliated with InHouse Wellness. That relationship does not influence the environmental sources, formulas, availability rules, city selection or rankings. Retailer and product variables do not enter the dataset.
Editorial approach
Claims are generated from explicit fields and deterministic rules, not free-form AI summaries. When a source cannot support a statement, the value is withheld. Every component page describes both what a number means and what it cannot establish.
Contact and corrections
Send source, methodology or data corrections to corrections@homenhealthy.com. Include the page URL, disputed field, proposed correction and a primary source when possible.
