Methodology v2.0 and data-withholding correction
Affected: all city, state and ranking pages in the previous release.
Issue: a legacy ECHO query returned the total number of active community water systems as the health-violation count, producing a false 0% result. Air and several housing values were placeholders, and two NOAA station records lacked precipitation.
Resolution: the invalid values were removed; missing values now display as unavailable. The updater uses ECHO’s current-violation filter, rejects implausible distributions, requires complete precipitation and ACS age bins, excludes current AQI from the index and blocks publication when coverage fails.
